Kouri Island is a small island in the northern part of the main island of Okinawa.
This island has a legend like “Okinawa version of Adam and Eve” and is also called “Island of Love” or “Island of God”.
In 2005, the “Kouri Ohashi Bridge” was opened between Yagaji Island, the neighboring island, and it became a remote island that can be reached by car.
