Pangong Lake is one of the largest brackish water lakes in Asia, located on the Sino-Indian border between Lutok Prefecture in the Tibet Autonomous Region of the People’s Republic of China and Ladakh Prefecture in Jammu and Kashmir, India.
At an altitude of 4250 meters, Pangong Lake is the highest salt lake in the world (on the Indian side).
With a total length of more than 150 kilometers and an area of 604 square kilometers, it is very majestic.
