Riomaggiore is a municipality (comune) with a population of about 1,700 located on the eastern Riviera coast in the province of La Spezia, Liguria, Italy.
 
The main village of Riomaggiore and the village of Manarola are counted as scenic spots called Cinque Terre, and are registered as World Heritage Sites.

Riomaggiore is also known for having some of the best diving spots in Italy. On the west side of the station, there is a path on the quay that leads to the next station, Manarola, called “Lovers’ Path”.
