Thousand Island Lake is a man-made lake located between Chun’an County and Jiande City in Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province, China.
The Qiandao Lake is an artificial lake formed to build China’s first large-scale hydroelectric power station.There are 1,078 islands over 2,500 meters in the lake, so it is named Qiandao Lake.
