Madakaripura Waterfall located in Sapih village, Lombang district, East Java, Indonesia, not far from the Mount Bromo area in Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park. Madakaripura is a sacred visiting area comprising lines of waterfalls that reach a height of 200 metres (660 ft). This waterfall has a history related to Prime Minister Gajah Mada (1290–ca. 1364), who struggled to unify the whole territory of Indonesia under the control of the Majapahit Empire. He said, “the last residence for Gajah Mada”.

This spectacular waterfall lies hidden at the end of a deep valley in the foothills of the Tengger range. The water has cascades from the dense forest above. The primary attraction is its natural environment that is encircled by seven waterfalls and caves. The available facilities are include a parking lot, food stalls, a resting place, and a security post. Visitors climbing the peak of Mount Bromo and then bathe in the holy Tirta Sewana before travelling to other visiting points in the Probolinggo area.
